Fumex ATEX-Certified Extractors
Fumex R EX
Local extractor for workplaces which require safe handling of explosive gases and dust. This arm fulfills the requirements in the ATEX directive 94/9/EC category 2 for gases and dust.
The Fumex R EX local extractor is available with lengths of 1.5, 2m, 3m and 4m, with stable earthed structure, arm in steel with conductive powder coating, or alternatively stainless steel and anti-static hose.
- wall bracket and arm in powder-coated steel with conductive grey metallic paint
- stainless steel gas spring that balances the arm's dead weight
- polyester-polyurethane anti-static hose
- manual damper with conductive knob

Fumex RZ EX
Local extractor for workplaces which require safe handling of explosive gases and dust. This arm fulfills the requirements in the ATEX directive 94/9/EC category 2 for gases and dust.
The Fumex RZ EX is an option with a longer reach, up to 6.5m. All parts are effectively earthed.
The arm structure complete with wall bracket is made of steel, and finished in conductive powder coating. The same hose from the suction nozzle to dust connection provides low pressure drop, a low level of dust deposits, and easy cleaning.
